Immediate availability for an
experienced Equine Practitioner who is at least 2-3 years graduated from vet
school, or is ACVS boarded, board eligible, or ABVP boarded. Must have
current California State License and Federal Accreditation. A working
knowledge and ability in orthopedics/trauma diagnosis, imaging, and
medical/surgical treatment is necessary. You will become part of a permanent team that
is committed to educating clientele and providing the highest quality, most
technologically advanced healthcare for our patients.
Located on 15 acres, this fully
staffed and equipped 100% equine practice includes a modern surgical
facility, lameness diagnosis facility, full imaging capability, in-house
laboratory, and in-house farrier service. Our climate-controlled Intensive
Care Unit offers the best in patient comfort and ease for handling critical
patients.
Our practice has been established since 1985 as a high quality
surgical and medical center respected for excellence in lameness diagnosis,
imaging, and treatment of performance horses. The caseload is primary and
referral care consisting of 90% in-hospital, 10% ambulatory, and minimal
emergency work. Our cases consist of 60% orthopedics, 15% surgery, 15%
general medicine and reproduction, and 10% preventive medicine/dental.

Briefly, we are a 100% equine facility with a mission of providing the most current and state of the art diagnosis and treatment for our patients.
