Heather joined the Panorama Equine team in
July 2008 and is working towards becoming a Registered Veterinary
Technician (RVT). Her time at Panorama Equine is providing her
with a learning experience to further her understanding of Equine
Science and techniques and treatments used in the industry. Background: Heather
was born and raised in Red Bluff, CA and participated in the High School
Rodeo District I team from 1997-1998. She has participated in gymkhana
(timed events on horseback) and penning since 1998, and from 2005 to
2008 was on the Galloping Glitz Equestrian Drill Team. She placed third
in the Cow Palace Drill Challenge (mounted drill short program) in 2007
and first in 2008. She was also a Wildland Firefighter for 5 years from
1999-2005 and assisted in the Columbia Shuttle recovery. Heather
currently resides in Shingletown. Hobbies:
Aside from enjoying team penning and competing in gymkhana through the
CSHA, Heather likes to spend time Camping, Fishing and Hunting. When she
gets the time, she loves to go skiing at Mt. Bachelor (in Oregon) and
Mt. Shasta. Education:
Heather will be graduating from OIT (Oregon Insitute of Technology) in
June 2009 with a Bachelor of Biology and an emphasis in "Pre-Med". She
is working towards becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
through her time here at Panorama Equine. |
